Daichi Togawa is a Tokyo-based designer who mixes his modern eye with artisanal techniques. Daichis’s experience at Issey Miyake and Under Armor allows him to create timeless and intelligent pieces made with unique materials form Japan.
Bringing her legacy forward to a new generation, Belgian-born Meryll Rogge left school in 2008 to pursue her dream-job by joining Marc Jacob’s design team in New York. Her designs pay homage to the past and free spirits, and embraces the ultra-masculinity just as effortlessly as the decorative opulence of femininity. Her SS21 campaign talks about the exploration of the self, rethinking the escapism in which we live from the reconfigurations that 2020 brought into our lives. “I don’t believe in locking people up in the office. It kills the spirit. We will try to continue to work in this liberated way for as long as we can.”
Based in Germany and founded in 2017 just with the idea to create Velvet Socks, SIMONE WILD produces and processes mostly, non-seasonal collections. Each piece is produced in a small factory which is focused on giving new opportunities to women who have lost their jobs in the textile industry because of outsourcing into other countries. Her new collection “LONELY PLANET” is about the emotions that one has to go through and let go to finally feel good.
After the name of his grandmother, Francisco Terrawas founded his brand in Paris in 2015. For him designing clothes is not only an ability but a different way of telling stories. The brand’s foundation comes from the idea that a piece from anywhere can become art and therefore have prestige. His new collection “Uncool” is a letter to all the broken hearts who are in search of self love.
The convergence between two cultures such as French and Mexican results in an androgynous brand that defies the binary. Calher Delaeter, founded in 2020 by Alonso Calderon and Théophile Delaeter-Salmon, is a fun, classy and sensual label whose fabrications are soft and tactile with easy shapes that leverage just the right amount of drama. The pieces could be inspired by tea parties and afternoon strolls in the Parisian gardens to the cactus skin of Guadalajara, Jalisco.They seek a community free of boundaries and limits, which challenges already established beliefs and definitions.
Founded by Tatiana Cueva, the idea of CUEVA was born in Mexico City as a fashion project led by women. The purpose of the brand is to create flexible jobs by creating a space for collaboration and support among women. Its urban style allows us to focus on handmade productions "in house", with atemporal collections and a no-waste philosophy.
